A LIBRARIAN’S HOROSCOPE IN THIS YEAR OF THE PORK!

WARNING: This horoscope was based on the online articles about 2019 forecasts and predictions. I modified it to add some twists and for it to be relatable. At the end of the day, it’s you who holds your fate and God is the most powerful One so relax and don’t take it seriously!

LUCKY COLOR: YELLOW
Love: ARE YOU LONELY? You are lonely because you are a one-person librarian or it’s just you have colleagues but they are not that participative and proactive as you. If you are single, this year is not yet for you BUT you still have friends who genuinely love you. You know, love is universal. You can offer it to your library patrons! One more advice, love your colleagues so they will love you back! There’s no other way!
Career: 2019 is a very emotional year for you! Your efforts for your job won’t be greatly appreciated by your boss (just like what you have given to your crush or your loved one) because, in this year of the pig, the level of dissatisfaction is high! There’s always a saying that you can’t please everybody but it doesn’t mean that you will just let your library users down. At the end of the day, your number one priority is the 100 percent satisfaction of your library clients. Just work passionately because the universe will surely conspire to help you in achieving your dreams!
Finance: Librarianship is a noble profession but the salary rate won’t make you the richest! If you are also a businessman or an entrepreneur, this is your money year! Online selling is so promising this year! Just be careful of the missing books or book theft because your admin will surely say “it’s payback time!”

Wellbeing: This year is very challenging for you! The demands of your work will certainly push you beyond your limits! Accreditations? CHED or DepEd visits? Requirements and Massive Paper Works! What else? Stress and strains will surely affect your health! Burnout will embrace you this year! Just don’t forget to breathe. Take a leave and have a break! Lastly, emotional health is the biggest concern of this year, so don’t be negative. Don’t let hatred consume you. Don’t let you naughty library users or your toxic colleagues destroy your inner peace!
